2023 class meets with manager, studio tenants

The Leadership Golden Strip Class 3 stopped by the Simpsonville Arts Center today to learn about its new programming and studio tenants. Hosted by the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Class was caught up to speed by Arts Center Manager Melissa Sturgis on the 2021 renovations, series of art exhibitions and classes and full occupancy of the six classrooms that act as studios. The Class, which is composed of people who live or work in the Golden Strip, had a chance to interact with several studio tenants and learn about their art and time at the Arts Center and hear from Front of House Manager Nancy Burkard of in-house theater group Mill Town Players. One student even received a free lesson on voice warmups! Thank you to Simpsonville Chamber CEO/President Allison McGarity and the Leadership Golden Strip Class 3 for stopping by!
