Academy Hall
Academy Hall is a beautifully restored space that honors Simpsonville’s rich history while creating new opportunities for community gatherings. Originally built in 1939 as the gymnasium for Simpsonville High School—and later serving Simpsonville Elementary—the hall retains its original flooring and historic bleachers, preserving the character and memories of the past.
Thoughtfully updated for today’s needs, Academy Hall now features a modern catering kitchen and convenient access to restrooms, making it an ideal setting for performances, celebrations, meetings, and special events. As part of the historic Simpsonville Arts Center, Academy Hall seamlessly blends preservation and progress, offering a meaningful, community-focused venue where history and creativity continue to come together.
